Beekeeping Course for Kids /Families
Prepare the young generation to care for our mother earth by introducing them to the fascinating world of beekeeping. Through hands-on experience, kids will have the opportunity to learn about the following topics
Everything they need to know to become a competent beekeeper, including how to set up their hives and introduce the bees to their new home.
Gain insight into the reasons behind the decline of honey bees and discover methods to support their survival.
Familiarize themselves with the primary breeds of honey bees, their basic physiology, and the various types of hives commonly used by beekeepers.
Learn about the diseases and parasites that pose threats to honeybees, and how to effectively manage them.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the annual hive maintenance schedule and how to conduct regular inspections throughout the year.
Additionally, learn the processes of honey extraction, processing, and bottling.
Timing: Saturdays 9 am -12 pm for kids alone or Fridays 3 pm pm 6:00 for families with kids
Pricing: 2200 participant for 4 weeks, each week 3 hours and 10 participant per group.
Suitable for kids 8 years and above when attending Saturdays and 6 and above when attending with an adult on Friday . Starting on 2nd week of March. Kids will get a beekeeping certificate certified by KHDA. This program is run by a certified beekeeper in partnership with Hatta Honey.
Beehive Tour
Join us for an amazing and educational journey into the fascinating world of bees.
Join us to discover hive management, bee communication, their various jobs, and their crucial role in our planet's ecosystem.
Experience opening a hive, locating the queen, and exploring hive structure.
Afterward, enjoy a relaxing garden stroll to learn about the bees' preferred nectar sources.
Finally, savor a honey tasting featuring varieties produced by UAE bees, and consider adding a beeswax candle crafting session to round out the experience.

Beehive Visit: 150 AED
Visit with candle making, honey tasting, and garden tour: 225 AED

Beekeeper for a Day
Join us for a 3-hour adventure diving into the world of bees in detail. Following this immersive exploration, you can choose to engage in activities such as cooking with honey, harvesting honey, or melting your own wax.
Timing: Sundays Afternoon 3:00 - 6:00
Pricing: 400AED Per Person
The experience includes Educational Talk, Tour in the Garden to learn about bees’ favorite food, Beehive inspection, Honey Tasting, and a choice of the following: Cooking with honey for adults and kids 4+, Harvesting Honey for adults and kids 4+, or making organic wax for adults and teenagers 14+.
The experience includes receiving 20 grams of honey or one kilo of wax when you book the honey harvesting or wax melting activity.
School Trips
We offer educational tours for kids where they can learn about bees, benefits of honey, inspect hives, hear stories about bees, and conclude their visit with beeswax candle making and decoration.
